Back ... at work

I was away for five days, in the wilderness, no less. Vacation was ... exhausting. Especially girls. This time they really wore me out and I was so mad at them last night, when we finally got home, that I refused to speak to them at all. It lasted all of half an hour, then we talked. That's how strong my resolve is.
I'm still a little... I dunno. Does anyone have a simple recipe on dealing with eight- and eleven-years-old who constantly argue and keep saying they hate each-other? *sigh* Maybe they'll grow out of it.
